From the founder

A short note on why this exists.

My name is Kai. The AI in the app is also Kai. That's not a coincidence and it's not a coincidence I'm going to pretend wasn't intentional.

I've spent the last few years making food content. Going to rooms, watching them fill, watching them go quiet, talking to chefs who can't figure out why the Tuesday is dead even though the food is the best work of their life.

The answer is almost never the food. The answer is that nobody knew the room was right for them that night.

Google can tell you a place exists. Resy can tell you if there's a table. Yelp can tell you what a stranger thought about it in 2019. None of them can tell you whether the room feels right for the specific Friday you're trying to plan, with the specific person you're trying to plan it with.

That's the gap. That's the whole company.

Savrli is a small bet that picking a restaurant should feel less like searching and more like texting a friend who knows. The AI is named Kai because that's the friend. It's trained on the way I'd actually answer if you texted me. Pushback included. Some Italian spots are mid. Some "romantic" places are just dim. The honest answer is the whole product.

We're starting with eight cities. We'll be wrong in some of them. When we are, tell us, because the only way this works is if the people using it talk back.

If you've read this far, you're who we're building for. Drop your email below and we'll let you know when it's ready in your city. No marketing emails. No "Kai's Weekly Roundup." Just the launch, and then quiet, until you decide otherwise.
